Albany Park at a glance
The North Branch of the Chicago River wraps Albany Park's east and north sides. Montrose Avenue marks the south edge of the Albany Park neighbourhood and Pulaski Road the west, and the wider community area also takes in Mayfair, North Mayfair and Ravenswood Manor. It's one of the most diverse parts of the city. Lawrence Avenue between Kedzie and Pulaski carries the honorary name "Seoul Drive".
Getting around is easy: the Brown Line ends at Kimball and Lawrence, with Kedzie and Francisco stations too; the Montrose Blue Line stop is close by; the Edens Expressway (I-94) runs along the west side, and Mayfair has a Metra Milwaukee District North station. North Park University and Northeastern Illinois University are just to the north.
